Mod Calamity

Head Mod, Social Media Mod, Writing Mod (they/she)

你好! I’m Calamity, the founder of this zine, and one half of ClawStorm! I LOVE CLJ and knew I had to bring a project to life for it, so here we are. I’m a huge fan of C-dramas, animation, tragic characters, putting my favourite characters through agony, and love stories that change fate. I’ve worked in plenty of zines before as a writer and in Heart Strings Raeda Zine as Co-Head Mod and Social Media Mod, so I’m happy to be modding this one alongside Storm and the rest of the team!

Mod Jess

Discord Mod (they/it)

Howdy! I'm Jess. I'm also new to C-dramas but I am so excited to get into them. Calamity reached out for my help in the project and I figured this was the perfect time for me to lend a hand and make some friends to talk about C-dramas with! I'll be helping on the Discord side of the operation, which is something that isn't new to me at all. I've helped moderate and have even served as the admin for a few servers in my day, alongside being a Head Mod for Soul Ablaze: A Galo-Centric Fanzine and a Discord/Co-Head Mod for Heartstrings: A Raeda Fanzine. I am so excited to see what this project becomes and all the wonderful creations that will come from it.

Mod Storm

Hihi! I'm Storm, the co-head of this project and the other half of ClawStorm!! I'm new to the C-drama world, but I have many friends who have been encouraging me to get into it, and Calamity asked if I'd like to help with their passion project! I will be handling the logistic side of things, at least until I get caught up on some C-dramas myself! I have lots of experience with zine modding in various fandoms, and I'm currently running one of the Raeda zines for TOH Fandom! So happy to be here to make something wonderful with Calamity!

Hello! I’m Angel, a silly little artist that will be art mod this time! I was head mod of the Ghost Valley Zine so I hope I can bring some insight into this project! CLJ is one of my fav romances, it’s so fluffy and silly and I just love to watch these two characters together. It feels like a really lovely bit of fanfic, doesn’t it? I can’t wait to see what we all make! ❤️

Hi!! I’m Golden, the finance mod for this zine! I’m very very new to the C-Drama world, but I am very excited to be a part of this zine!! I’ll be handling the finances of the zine, as I have a lot of experience handling finances for projects, both zine and not! I’m currently the finance mod for Heart Strings: A Raeda Zine! I’m excited to see what comes out of this project!

What is the theme of this zine? Are AUs allowed?
This zine will not have a specific theme, though it can be related to the title of the zine if the creator wishes. Only canon divergent or canon compliant AUs will be allowed in this zine. AUs such as Modern AUs won’t be allowed.Will other ships apart from Canglan be allowed?
Yes! Any ships are allowed, as well as any platonic dynamics the creator wishes to include.Can we submit artwork/writing that we already have?
No. All pieces for this project must be new and created solely for this zine.If a contributor finishes their piece early, will they be able to sell or post it?
Please wait until all orders have shipped, so that those who have purchased the zine will get to see the works before they are publicly released.Can I apply for more than one position?
Yes you can! However, you will only receive ONE email, and you will only be accepted into ONE role.Are NSFW/Explicit pieces allowed?

Is this a for-profit or charity project?
This project will be for charity! Any profits made will be donated to Shan Shui Conservation Center.How much will the zine cost?
The digital PDF should be $10-$15~, and the physical book and merch has yet to be determined.How are contributors compensated?
All contributors will get a free PDF of the zine, and if sales break even, then contributors will receive a free physical copy of the zine as well. Merch will likely be discounted for contributors if a full bundle cannot be provided.How many contributors will be accepted into the zine?
We will be accepting 15 artists, 3 merch artists, and 7 writers. Including guests, there will be 18 artists (2 guests, 1 mod), 4 merch artists (1 guest), and 10 writers (2 guests, 1 mod). Numbers are subject to change.Is traditional artwork allowed?
Yes! As long as the artwork is sized correctly and placed into our templates, it should be fine.Where will this project be shipping from?
